Mapping to ARCHICAD
In ARCHICAD all element properties are managed via the Property Manager. The "Element Properties" template created in BIMQ can be imported here. Settings for data types, descriptions and default value can be made in the Property Manager. Once all settings have been made, the properties can be assigned to a corresponding model element in the Classification Manager. With BIMQ it is possible to create the property sets and properties defined in the project guidelines in the required format (XML) in order to import them into the ARCHICAD Properties Manager. In addition, the information such as data type, description, default value and the assignment to the model elements are also transferred. It is also possible to export the classification system created in BIMQ. The mapping of elements, property sets and properties must be supplemented in the project guidelines in order to be able to generate the file with "Element Properties".
