Mapping to Allplan / Bimplus
You can transfer elements, property sets and properties from BIMQ to Bimplus - Allplan's Common Data Environment (CDE).
With BIMQ it is possible to exchange the elements, property sets and properties defined in the project guidelines directly with Bimplus via a dialog box. The project template is then available to all models on Bimplus within a project room and can be synchronized accordingly with the Allplan models.
Mapping of elements (Allplan/Bimplus)
The mapping of an element in BIMQ describes which classification is used in Allplan to classify a component.
Allplan has a specific classification system for elements which you cannot adapt.
To select elements of Allplan in BIMQ, proceed as follows:
1. Click “table settings” to adjust the work area.
2. Place a check next to Allplan. Then click OK (green check mark). 
3. Left-click on the corresponding Allplan field of the element.
Option 1: If you use the predefined classification system, the mapping of elements can be configured using a selection list. All specified classes in Allplan are displayed as a selection list.
Option 2: If you do not create this element in Allplan, please leave this field empty.
Mapping of property sets (Allplan / Bimplus)
The mapping of a property set describes how a property set is named in Allplan. BIMQ offers a free text field for the definition of the property set mappings.
To assign property sets in Allplan, proceed as follows:
1. Click “Table Settings” to adjust the work area.
2. Place a check next to Allplan and then click OK (green check mark).

3. Left-click on the corresponding Allplan field of the property set.
4. Add the mapping of the property set as required.
• Option 1 - Predefined property sets: If the property set is a predefined property set such as “WallCommon”, simply select this property set from the pick list.

• Option 2 - User-defined properties: If the property does not exist in Allplan, enter the name of the property set in the Allplan field.

5. Then click on OK (green check mark) to confirm the entry. Or click Cancel to cancel the entry.
Mapping of properties (Allplan / Bimplus)
The mapping of a property describes how a property is named in Allplan. BIMQ offers a free text field for the definition of the property mapping.
To assign a property in Allplan, proceed as follows:
1. Click “Table Settings” to adjust the work area.
2. Place a check next to Allplan and then click OK (green check mark).

4. Add the mapping of the property as required
• Option 1 - Predefined properties: If the property is a predefined parameter such as “ExtendToStructure”, simply select this property from the pick list.

5. Then click on OK (green check mark) to confirm the entry. Or click Cancel to cancel the entry.
