BIMQ 2.12

Version: BIMQ 2.12.9

Date: 2024-09-25

New

  • (Software Templates) Our new export for ALLPLAN/BIMPLUS is now available. You can read more about it here.

Fixes

  • (Templates | Project Requirements) Constraints of type Range are now sorted correctly.

Version: BIMQ 2.12.8

Date: 2024-09-10

New

  • (Templates | Project Requirements) We have made improvements to the performance. This means that particularly extensive guidelines are now provided with better performance.

Fixes

  • (Project Requirements) Some specific property sets were not resolved correctly. These were incorrectly declared as errors. This only concerned the IFC2x3 mapping.

  • (Templates | Project Requirements) Some data types for constraints were not displayed correctly.

  • (Project Setup) It was not possible to change the code when using a specific configuration. This can now be done correctly again.

Version: BIMQ 2.12.7

Date: 2024-08-16

New

Together with Ekkodale we developed an enhanced version for the AIA.Editor export file that allows independent enumeration lists for each object.

Example: The property Fire Rating of a door may have the enumeration T30, T60 and T90 whereas for a window it may be F30 and F60. This was always possible in BIMQ but now is also supported by the AIA.Editor export in combination with Ekkodale's Guideline.Editor.

Please note that the Guideline.Editor needs an update to version 1.24 or higher. The AIA.Editor needs no update at this point as it can handle both export versions.

Version: BIMQ 2.12.6

Date: 2024-08-09

Fixes

  • DesiteMD export: Properties with data type Integer are now exported as xs:int instead of xs:integer

Enhancements

  • It is now possible to import requirements from other projects multiple times. It is also possible to import whole discipline models even when requirements are already used in other models.

Version: BIMQ 2.12.5

Date: 2024-08-02

Note

In order to provide Single-Sign-On with SAML 2.0 we had to change the login page to a two-step login-worklflow. If you use a password manager it may be necessary to adjust its settings to support a two-step login.

Enhancements

  • Allplan export: Cancelled exports due to missing Allplan mappings are now communicated in more detail

  • New option to show only search results:
    grafik.png

Fixes

  • IDS export: Boolean values are now exported always as true or false, regardless of the choosen project language

  • Excel export: Exports with certain defined constraints where not possible

  • Excel import: Adding new properties with constraints/values is now always supported

Version: BIMQ 2.12.4

Date: 2024-07-18

New

  • The Allplan mapping dialog now supports the fields Kenner and Kenner-Wert. These information will be available for export in a future update.

  • It is now possible to use enumerations for numerical properties. A migration of existing enumerations is possible.

  • The IDS unit is now always shown in the table if any constraint is defined

Bug fixes and Enhancements

  • The IFC mapping dialog for IFC 4 now contains Qto_BuildingElementProxyQuantities and Qto_CurtainWallQuantities

  • Mass assignment for the attribute Code now also works for Groups

  • Excel Export: If too many columns where fixed ("freezed"), horizontal scrolling was nearly impossible. Now only the first few columns will be fixed.

Version: BIMQ 2.12.3

Date: 2024-06-13

New

  • The copying process can now be filtered with regard to the required entries. A filter is available for this via the configured use cases. In addition, “library entries” that are no longer used can also be ignored. The copied projects therefore only carry the required amount of data.

  • IFC supertypes can be used for mapping - and can be restricted with regard to their inherited entities. The dialog has been extended for this purpose. Please note that this can currently only be taken into account in the IDS workflow. Other exports, in particular software templates and checking rules, cannot take this into account.

Bug fixes and Enhancements

  • An error in linking the documentation to IFC2x3 has been fixed. An error message was generated here - as you are not authorized to access this page.

  • Certain project names (containing special characters) could not be used for export purposes (browser dependent). This is now fixed.

  • In the IDS export, falsey simpleValue was written out within a pattern. This has been fixed. Only affects IFC 2x3 and certain Type Occurence Entities.

  • Enumerations could not be imported - if the unit column was not configured. This has now been fixed.

  • (Quality of life) The dialog for enumerations has been adapted. Creating new entries is now focus locked and enables faster processing.

Version: BIMQ 2.12.2

Date: 2024-06-05

New

IDS version 1.0 has now been officially released by buildingSMART International. Versions 1.0.0 and 0.9.7 are now available in BIMQ.

Note: In the publication of the technical specification, IDS 1.0 is referred to as version 1.0.0. We have therefore decided to use IDS 1.0.0 in BIMQ in order to be consistent with the previous IDS versions.

Version: BIMQ 2.12.1

Date: 2024-05-28

New

  • New selection layout for combinations of use cases and phases in requirements was added. Combinations of use case + phase can now be selected directly:

Bug fixes and Enhancements

General

  • Some pages did not show if no discipline model was assigned as requirement

  • Waveware mapping: The code is now always shown in the mapping dialog

  • Dashboard: The mapping chart does not take groups into account anymore. This change was made because groups often need no mapping at all and therefore skew the chart.

Exports:

  • Revit shared parameter: Group IDs in the sharad parameter file where wrong in some cases. This happened sometimes if the Revit mapping of the group contained white space.

  • Solibri Checking Rules (Excel file): Objects with IFC entity IfcOpeningElement where not exported

Version: BIMQ 2.12.0

Date: 2024-05-22

New

  • Constraints for Properties are now available in BIMQ. This can be used to define text patterns or value ranges for a property, for example. Export to IDS is also supported. Further information can be found in the article Model component types in the section Constraints for Properties.
(Note: Only active for some users)

  • IDS-Export: Version 0.9.7 is now available
(Note: Only active for some users)

Bug fixes

  • Access rights in a project: Users with role User within a project where not able to see templates for purposes
